Workshops are interactive and designed to help faculty and students use strategies learned in the workshop independently in the future. In addition, many tools and resources will be shared through access to a password protected repository for continued support after the workshop. See photo gallery below.

Time management for academics (how to increase scholarly productivity while teaching effectively and efficiently)
Scholarship kick offs and bursts for faculty writing retreats (useful for setting up how faculty writers can use writing retreat time most effectively and offering small refocusing activities throughout)
Time crunched faculty support (how to write in very short bursts occasionally through the week to complete a project with a full schedule)
Sabbatical coaching (weekly phone call or online sessions, along with revising and editing help, to help faculty complete projects during sabbaticals)
Scholarly Communication
Rethinking scholarly communication librarians as partners versus support
Navigating open access/open science developments in scholarly publishing
Using Twitter to support and promote scholarship
Promoting scholarship through partnerships with university libraries and scholarly publishers

Faculty writing group coaching (useful for starting or re-energizing a faculty writing group)
Faculty writing support within traditional writing center spaces (cost effective implementation strategies and/or in house workshops with faculty)
Strategies for addressing writer’s block and lack of motivation
Doctoral/postgraduate writing seminar (how to transition from a graduate student writer to a new faculty writer who must maintain regular scholarly productivity)
Thesis and Dissertation writing training for faculty supervisors (workshop for faculty who supervise students that teaches how to help students actually do the writing, stay focused, and complete projects)
Training for graduate writing center tutors in tutoring practices for graduate students specifically, including markers of academic writing in a variety of disciplines and strategies to overcome writing blocks
Academic writing moves that level up scholarly writing and increase chances of publication

Workshops have been conducted at University of Leeds, Gannon University, Bowling Green State University, Ohio State University, University of North Georgia, Middle Tennessee State University, University of New Haven, Ohio Northern University and more.
